With the Game of Thrones season 8 episode 1 only a few hours away, we can barely keep quiet. After watching the official trailer, promos, mysterious screens, and a scary teaser – the anticipation of Game of Thrones fans is at an all-time high.
What to expect from GoT season 8
HBO also released several photos from the last season to keep Game of Thrones fans on their toes. It’s not like we needed them to hype up our excitement. There is a lot happening this season and we cannot wait for it.
The reveal of Jon’s parentage, the death of several characters that are being foreshadowed, and the epic battle against the White Walkers. And the most important question after all – who will sit on the iron throne.
Photos of Game of Thrones season 8 cast revealed
One of the Game of Thrones season 8 episode 1 photos released by the channel shows Cersei Lannister and Qyburn in the throne room at King’s Landing, looking grave and deep in thought. Several pictures of Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen were also released. In one of them, they look happy, Jon looking off into the distance with a slight smile. This is perhaps one of the rare happy moments of this season.
Sansa is shown next, and she looks ready to welcome Jon and Dany to Winterfell. Jorah Mormont and Ser Davos of Seaworth are also pictured. Lord Varys, Tyrion Lannister, and Lyanna Mormont are other major characters features in the photographs.
The first episode of the last season airs on April 14 on HBO.
