The popularity of this superhero of the gaming world is increasing like never before. Around 50 million people downloaded it upon its release. The rise if this titan has also affected the popularity of other games. It is reported that after a month of the release of Apex Legends, Respawn Entertainment’s battle royale game slowed down.
Apex Legends kept on working really good until a few glitches were reported in the game. Apparently, the problems with the game have been resolved but to no avail. As new glitches are coming to haunt the makers on and off.
It is believed that the downfall in the popularity of Apex Legends is due to lack of custom games.
Apex Legends and custom games
Millions of fans around the world including professional players want Respawn to add custom games to its battle royale game. This is because Fortnite offers custom lobbies for players to practise against top tier talent.
According to Michael “Shroud” Grzesiak (popular twitch streamer), Apex Legends is likely to introduce custom lobbies in the coming updates.
“Once they add the ability to make custom games, eventually we’ll be playing each other in tournaments,”
Apex Legends to introduce customizations
To win the war of supremacy, the game will have to satiate the needs of the players in the upcoming updates for sure. Fortnite already offers custom gaming options to its players. So if Respawn too wants to hold the ground firmly, it will have to introduce some interesting custom gaming options.
