Dak Prescott is easing up for his contract extension deal with the Dallas Cowboys and it could soon come to fruition. The Cowboys will not let their best quarterback walk away and are ready to pay him a big sum which can make him the richest QB in NFL right now.
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, DAK PRESCOTT. THIS TEAM GOES AS HE GOES. WHERE HE LEADS, THEY WILL FOLLOW.

Prescott has been doing a great job in this season and has also behaved very patiently with the team management. Unlike Ezekiel Elliot and other NFL stars who were sitting on a holdout, Prescott was present in the training camp and the preseason games. The Cowboys have also expressed their interest in offering a new deal to Dak Prescott and it could easily go north of $40 million per year.
Dak Prescott in 2019 NFL Season
Dak Prescott has used his pending deal extension as motivation and did a great job in all the 3 games of 2019 NFL season. The star quarterback has passed for 920 yards on a 74.4 percent completion rate. Along with that, Prescott made nine touchdown passes to two interceptions, with 11 rushes for 88 yards and a touchdown. Dak is playing better than before, he is on his career peak and the Cowboys are inclined to offer him the biggest QB deal in the history of NFL.
Dak Prescott said he could’ve thrown the ball away on the play he was sacked by Taco Charlton.
So why didn’t he throw it away?
Dak smiled: “Completion percentage.” pic.twitter.com/kq9dWm4xwJ

Dak Prescott is without a Cowboys Deal
While Dak Prescott is sitting out without a deal, the Dallas Cowboys have covered rest of their star players with huge salary extension.
- DeMarcus Lawrence, DE: five-year, $105 million extension
- Jaylon Smith, LB: six-year, $68.4 million deal
- La’el Collins, OL: five-year, $50 million contract
- Ezekiel Elliot, RB: six-year, $90 million extension
The Cowboys plan was to collect everyone before moving towards Prescott as he was in no hurry for a deal. Now that Dallas is leading 3-0 in the NFL season and Dak Prescott is in great form, a new deal extension could be worked out soon. Prescott is giving up his best to get as much money as he can from Jerry Jones and the Cowboys.
