Tyreek Hill is deeply attached to the Miami Dolphins after just two seasons, aiming to make South Beach his permanent NFL home. The wide receiver recently shared his thoughts on the Around the Bar podcast, striking a balance between optimism and realism about his future.
“I love Miami. I love every bit of it,” Hill revealed, emphasizing how much he and his family enjoy the city. “My wife loves it, my kids love it, my mom loves it. It’s just a beautiful city to live in, man. There’s so much stuff to do.”
Despite his affection for Miami, he acknowledged the unpredictable nature of the NFL: “We all know how the NFL is, how jobs go, and people getting promotions over here. We understand that.”
Tyreek Hill’s Commitment to the Miami Dolphins
With his contract extending until 2026, Hill isn’t immediately concerned about hitting free agency. However, being 30 years old, he understands the potential challenges that come with age in a competitive league. He remains focused on staying with the Dolphins for as long as possible.
“But Miami is a great city, man,” he added. “I love the team I play on, love the guys in the locker room, love the head coach, love the GM. So that means sign me. I love all you guys so much, I want to stay in Miami forever, man. Keep me there.”

Hill’s arrival from Kansas City in March 2022 revitalized the Dolphins’ offense. In his debut season, he amassed 119 receptions for 1,710 yards and seven touchdowns. In 2023, he further elevated his game, leading the NFL in receiving yards (1,799) and touchdowns (13) while matching his reception tally from the previous year.
The Georgia native, selected by the Chiefs in the 2016 NFL Draft’s fifth round, is a perennial Pro Bowler and five-time First-Team All-Pro. He contributed to Kansas City’s Super Bowl victory in the 2019-20 season before taking his dynamic talents to Miami.
Future Outlook
While the NFL is unpredictable, Hill’s stellar performance and dedication to the Dolphins make it unlikely that Miami will let him go anytime soon. As he builds on his legacy with each season, both Hill and the franchise hope to see his passion for Miami flourish well beyond his current contract.
