Before the rumors had a chance to spread like wildfire, Stefon quickly shut them down by suggesting he was simply singing a few lyrics of the new Drake song.

Is a Stefon Diggs Trade Possible this season?
The New York Giants were considering a potential trade for Stephon Diggs as they were still in dire need of a WR1 who could effectively fill the void in their aerial game. Despite this, they have made moves during the offseason, such as acquiring Darren Waller and Parris Campbell to bolster their aerial attack, while also re-signing Sterling Shepard, Darius Slayton, and Isaiah Hodgins for the 2023 season. In addition, they are also expecting a healthy Wan’Dale Robinson to make a significant impact on the team in the upcoming season.
So far there hasn’t been any concrete talk of a Stefon Diggs trade and it is safe to say there won’t be any. Stefon has a long-term contract with the Buffalo Bills while his brother Trevon Diggs has one year left on his contract with the Dallas Cowboys. Although Trevon has publicly tried to get Stefon Diggs to Dallas Cowboys, the Bills won’t be leaving him. Stefon’s contract has a potential out in 2025 should he choose to exercise it.
Having said that, if the Diggs trade had come to fruition, it would have sent shockwaves throughout the NFL world, and the people of New York would have undoubtedly been electrified by the news. Nevertheless, it turned out that the Diggs brothers were simply having some playful banter on Twitter, and many of us got our hopes up for nothing. Regrettably, it appears that a lot of us fell for an April Fools’ Day prank.
