Alshon Jeffrey could be the next big name in NFL to change teams. Philadelphia Eagles could soon trade out their most popular wide receiver due to many reasons. As per the latest rumors, Jeffrey is said to be moved soon.
Trade talk is picking up. Keep an eye on guys like Kenny Stills and Alshon Jeffery. We also know about Jadeveon Clowney and Trent Williams.
Miami #Dolphins are a strong player for Clowney right now.

Although, the deal doesn’t make much sense and the Eagles need him, then again anything can happen in NFL. Eagles have a few backup players that could replace Jeffrey in case they really trade our him. The main reason why the Philadelphia team could trade out Jeffrey is that his salary is too high and it’s a big issue for them.
Backup Players for Jeffrey
Philadelphia Eagles are trying to prepare for the Super Bowl 2020 and trading Alshon Jeffrey doesn’t make much sense. The Eagles would most get a few future drafts picks in a deal but they are in no way any improvement over Jeffrey. The only way possible the Eagles team would be ready to trade Jeffrey is if they get a similar calibre player in exchange. Jadeveon Clowney could be one of the names in case he doesn’t resign with the Houston Texans.
Them: look for Alshon Jeffery to be on the trading block.

The potential replacements for Jeffrey in the Philadelphia roster are DeSean Jackson, Nelson Agholor, and JJ Arcega-Whiteside. In case of one, they are injured after trading out Alshon, Mack Hollins or Greg Ward could be their next starter. The Eagles need to explore all their options before they actually consider trading Jeffrey.
High Salary Issues for Eagles
Alshon Jeffrey will soon be 30 years old and won’t be able to play same as before. The Eagles owe him a lot of money which would be better spent on some young players. Jeffrey is set to receive $15.975 million in the year 2020.
I’m told there’s nothing to rumors of Alshon Jeffery being traded.

The best possible options with Eagles is to cut him out now and save their $10 million of cap space along with $6 million of dead weight. It is still not clear whether the Eagles are actually giving it a thought or it’s just a baseless rumor.
