Saquon Barkley was injured in the Week 3 Giants vs Bucs game and had a sprain in his right ankle. The New York running back was seen limping around the field after the game and an MRI report indicates that he won’t be back for a few weeks. Fantasy football owners are in trouble and need to replace Barkley with a new RB who could provide them similar ratings. Here are the available fantasy football running backs to replace Saquon Barkley for the next few NFL weeks.
Darrel Williams, Chiefs
The second-year Pro running back Darrel Williams is doing a great job for the Kansas City Chiefs after the main stars are injured. LeSean McCoy and Damien Williams have ankle and knee injuries which makes Darrel an ideal choice to draft in fantasy football. Williams has played 37 of the 68 offensive snaps for the Chiefs and touched the ball 14 times for 109 yards from scrimmage. Darrel Williams had the longest run for a 41-yard dash where his top speed reached almost 21 mph.
Taking a fantasy gamble and starting Chiefs RB Darrel Williams. He took pregame snaps with the starters, Shady McCoy probably won't play due to field conditions. Any "feature" role in that offense could be a huge scoring opportunity.
It could also backfire, and Thompson eats…

Rex Burkhead, Patriots
Rex Burkhead got the chance to open the game for New England Patriots in the absence of James White and the running back did a great job. In his first game against the Jets, Burkhead rushed for 47 yards and made a touchdown. He also had 11 carries and caught 6 of 7 targets from the backfield for another 22 yards. The Patriots will face the Bills in their next game which are worst in terms of passer rating and Burkhead can score great for the fantasy football owners.

Jeff Wilson, 49ers
Jeff Wilson is currently the second-best goal kicker of 2019 NFL season with six goal-to-carries. The 23-year-old running back for the San Francisco 49ers was an undrafted free agent but now he has proved his worth to the team. Wilson has converted four goal-carries into touchdowns and is leading the 49ers in the scoring department.

Ronald Jones II, Buccaneers
The second-year pro player Ronald Jones II had 80 rushing yards on 14 carries for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jones is currently 15 yards ahead than the starting running back Peyton Barber and is expected to leave him further behind. The Bucs will face the Rams in Week 4 and it will be tough to score but also a great chance to improve the fantasy football rankings.
Don't see my reactions piece on @Bucs_Nation being too positive tomorrow which really sucks. Winston had a very good game. Evans was dominant. Ronald Jones III played incredibly well. Shaquil Barrett was a a one man wrecking crew. All that good stuff but it's tarnished w/a L.
