Greetings from Baby Onyx Ice to the world! After welcoming his ninth child, Nick Cannon made the announcement that he is a father once more. The Masked Singer host announced the birth of his daughter on social media on Wednesday night in a very touching and thoughtful post. He also promised to give his daughter his undivided love.
The actor and comedian posted a lengthy message on Instagram to announce the birth of his daughter. “Introducing ONYX ICE COLE CANNON… Once again Today I am in Awe of the Devine Feminine! God has given me and @MissLanishaCole the privilege of hosting an Angel here on earth. I vow to protect, provide, guide and love this child to the best of my abilities. In this moment of celebration and jubilee, I wish to mute any low vibrational frequencies and only rejoice with the Highest Class of Civilization who are truly aligned with our purpose here in this dimension,” Cannon wrote.
The rapper and producer continued by saying how much he had learned from his “Angel” kids. As a public figure, Cannon has developed a thick skin, but he acknowledged that he understandably wants to shield his family from the harsh spotlight.
“So I pray and ask others to please project all criticism and cynicism towards ME and not the loving and precious Mothers of my children. @MissLanishaCole is one of the most guileless, peaceful and nonconfrontational kind souls I’ve ever witnessed, and only deserves to revel in this moment of blissful joy of motherhood. Please give her that. She is so loving and pure hearted,” he wrote. “As for me, if you are truly concerned during this time of Spiritual Warfare, my inner struggles with self, mental wellness and physical health concerns… Just continue to pray for me and my entire family that God will grant us Peace that surpasses all Understanding. ??❤️.”
As if raising nine children as a father wasn’t difficult enough, Cannon has experienced some very traumatic times. He shared his tragic loss of his 5-month-old son Zen, whom he had with model Alyssa Scott, with great openness and vulnerability.
And while Cannon has received a lot of criticism for his enthusiastic role in repopulating the planet, he deserves a lot of praise for the way he openly honors and respects his parenting partners.
Regarding Zen’s mother, Cannon revealed: “Alyssa, was just the strongest woman I’ve ever seen,” he said. “Never had an argument, never was angry. Was emotional when she needed to be, but always the best mom, and continues to be the best mom.”
With the birth of baby Onyx, the proud father has only love and respect for LaNisha Cole and all of his children’s “precious Mothers.”
Cannon revealed his second pregnancy with Brittany Bell on Instagram in August by posting a video of their happy maternity shoot.
Cannon is now a father of ten children!
