In an interview, when asked about their favorite sneaker memory, Nick replied that he used to have fake Jordans. In the same interview, he also informed that he owns three hundred pairs of sneakers.

Nick Young picked Penny Hardaway alongside Michael Jordan
In an interview, Nick Young was asked about the most influential figure in sneaker culture, and he named Penny Hardaway.
Back in the day, I think it was always Jordan and Penny Hardaway. But now, I think Kanye [West] has it. No matter what he does, there are lines out the door for him.
Penny Hardaway’s influence on the sneaker culture is widely recognized. The former NBA player released his first signature shoes with Nike in the year 1995 which goes by the name “Penny 1”. The four-time NBA All-Star Penny was one of the biggest NBA stars back in 1990. He used to lead the Orlando Magic and served some of the smoothest styles of play. His excellent skills and style of play not only earned him appreciation from fans but a deal from Nike too.
