Nicole Kidman and Hollywood star Tom Cruise were once called “soulmates,” and their relationship was in the news until they suddenly split up in 2001, which shocked everyone. She didn’t want to join him in the Church of Scientology, but neither of them said why in an official statement. But after they broke up, the actress said that the former couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie would understand her marriage to Tom Cruise.
Nicole Kidman and Tom were married for more than ten years, and their fans loved the way they got along.
But the idea that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt can only understand each other because of the relationship she had with her then-husband Tom Cruise caused some trouble because Brad and Tom were rivals. Find out what she had to say about her marriage below.
Nicole Kidman talked to Vanity Fair, and she talked about her marriage to Tom Cruise. She told them about her “intoxicating” experience and how the Mr. and Mrs. Smith couple would get it.
I’m sure Brad [Pitt] and Angelina [Jolie] have that—because there’s nobody else that understands it except that person who’s sleeping right next to you,
said the actress.
Later in the conversation, Nicole Kidman said that Keith Urban, her second husband, was the person she found “great love” with.
With no disrespect to what I had with Tom, I’ve met my great love now. And I really did not know if that was going to happen,
said, Nicole Kidman.
She later said that she was a child when she married Tom Cruise.
I had a lot of time alone, which was really, really good, because I was a child, really, when I got married [to Cruise]. And I needed to grow up.
Tom Cruise is surely no stranger to troubled marriages, which is unfortunate. Let us know your thoughts about this in the comments section below.
