The Stranger Things rockstar who plays Will Byers, Noah Schnapps, has come out of the closet. Noah could be seen wearing a gray hoodie and laying on a white pillow while delivering the news. The Internet went into a rage as the 18-year-old actor casually and quickly announced this revelation. Moreover, Noah’s character in the hit Netflix series also struggles to find his sexuality. Following this, the fans responded to his commendable acting saying “he gets it”, in regard to what his character is feeling.
Noah Schnapps took to his TikTok account. He captioned the video, “I guess I’m more similar to Will than I thought.” The video has an overlay of text that reads, “When I finally told my friends and family I was gay after being scared in the closet for 18 years and all they said was ‘we know.” he can be heard lipsyncing to audio which says, “‘you know what it never was? That serious’.” The casual and quick video which lasted only for nine seconds broke the Internet. In Stranger Things, his character Will develops feelings for his best friends Mike Wheeler, played by Finn Wolfhard.

Will Byer’s affection toward his best friend Mike Wheeler was long suspected to be more than just friendly by the viewers of the show. The fans figured that Will is indeed in love with his friend and the news that the actor himself is gay has provided more credibility to the said tangent.
