Huawei had been teasing the audience for a long time with the circular hole punch feature before it finally unveiled it this Tuesday.
Samsung Galaxy A8s, which was announced last week had a similar feature. However, Huawei’s Nova 4 seems to have a smaller hole for the camera. We have to wait and see if it affects the quality of the picture from the 25 megapixels selfie camera.
Huawei’s sub-brand Honor also announced their View 20 phone last week which had similar features to Nova 4. Both of them had a three-camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary rear camera. Nova 4 has a Kirin 970 processor, but View 20 will use the updated Kirin 980.
Nova 4 comes with an 8GB RAM with 128 GB of inbuilt storage. A 3750mAh battery with an 18W fast charging USB-C and the commonly used rear-mounted fingerprint sensor are some of its other basic features. The phone will make its launch in India and Europe after it has been launched in China.
