Tyler Perry’s A Madea Family Funeral’s first trailer is out which gives an idea about the end of the iconic character. Perry has already announced on the Bevy Smith’s Sirius XM Show, Bevelations that the finale of the Madea film is on its way.
The movie was filmed some time back, but due to his busy slate, the movie was pushed back. Finally, the trailer of the movie was released on Wednesday and will release next year in March. Perry is seen introducing the movie. The trailer of the finale part shows the reunion of the family that has gone horribly awry. Madea and her family is seen travelling to Georgia for an unexpected funeral that may reveal some of the long-buried secrets of the family.

The trailer particularly does not show if it’s Madea’s funeral or not. However, Perry assures that the character will be his final on-screen appearance. It’s time for Perry to say his goodbye after 11 movies in which he played this character. He added,
We’re going to say goodbye in ’19. I just don’t want to be her age playing her.
The movie was expected to be out in March earlier this year, between the drama Acrimony and Nobody’s Fool. Madea was seen last October in theaters in Boo 2! A Madea Halloween. Perry may not be seen in the character anymore but he believes that the character will stick with him. He even thought of a farewell tour for the character where he may play his various characters across the country on stage. He said,
My thing with Broadway is that you got to do the exact same thing every night, the exact same way. That wouldn’t work for me. I’d piss off all the producers. I’d be like, look, we’ve got to do something different.
