Why would the Hawks like to sign OG Anunoby?
The Hawks had their issues last season when their players failed. Specifically, Young and Murray failed to keep a decent off-the-ball game. Anunoby getting into the roster might not change things much since those two at the back like to keep the ball.
But Anunoby’s skills can’t be questioned; it’s for sure that he’ll do wonders with either of them. He has got great shooting from beyond the arc, which will help the Hawks.

Why would the Raptors like to trade off OG Anunoby?
One of the reasons for making this trade might be rebuilding; people may think that the Raptors should hold Anunoby and let go of Pascal Siakam. But the exchange would give them a lot more options to experiment and rebuild. They have a lot of wingers, and one of them needs to go for obvious reasons.
