OJ Simpson has answered the long-running rumors that he was with Kris Jenner at one point and is Khloe Kardashian’s real father.
Khloe is one of Kris and the late lawyer Robert Kardashian’s four children. The other three are Kim, Kourtney, and Rob, a boy.
They also have Kendall and Kylie Jenner, who are their half-sisters because Kris later married Caitlyn Jenner.
There have been rumors for years that Khloe is not Robert’s biological daughter. Kris has always denied this, but fans think she is actually OJ’s because the two families are so close.
OJ, who used to play in the NFL for both the Buffalo Bills and the San Francisco 49ers, talked about the rumors on a Full Send podcast episode last week. The 75-year-old man said these were the claims:
Nowhere close to being true.
He went on to say that 67-year-old Kris was never attractive to him, and he thinks she feels the same way about him.
People have their types. I always thought Kris was a cute girl. She was really nice. But I was… dating supermodels!
he said.
When the rumor that he was Khloe’s father was brought up again, he said:
But the rumor ain’t true. Not even nowhere close to being true. I never been attracted to her and I never suspected she was ever attracted to me. That was never a case.
OJ has known the Kardashians for almost 30 years since Kris’s late husband Robert Kardashian came out of retirement to work on Simpson’s legal team during his criminal trial in 1995. The murders of OJ’s ex-wife Nicole Brown-Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman led to the trial, which was one of the most talked-about events in American history. After the murders, OJ was one of the first people police looked at.
In 2013, Robert Kardashian’s third wife, Ellen Pierson, who he was married to at the time of his death, said that he “confessed” on his deathbed that Khloe was not his biological daughter.
Then, a few years later, Khloe herself talked about the rumors on an episode of her talk show, Kocktails With Khloe, which has since been canceled.
I think the thing that most became overwhelming was when, like, the stuff with one of my dad’s wives.
She wanted to come out, like, 10 years later after my dad passed away and said that I’m not his daughter and that he confided in her and blah-say-blah. I was like, ‘Listen, you can talk about me and my sisters all you f**king want. Do not talk about my dad!’
she added.
Kris had even tried to get her daughter, Khloe, to take a paternity test, but Khloe said she would be offended to have to do so.
But OJ wasn’t the only man who was said to be Khloe’s father. Lionel Ritchie even went on TMZ to deny that she could be his daughter. When TMZ asked the “Dancing on the Ceiling” singer if he was Khloe’s father, he said:
No, of course not! They are my kids, they grew up in my house, but no I’m not the dad.
