Recently, a Uighur woman claimed to be the oldest woman in the world. She celebrated her 134th birthday. She was allegedly born in 1886 and has been declared the senior-most citizen.
It has been claimed by the Chinese government news outlets recently. Still, the authenticity of her birth records remains to be verified. If it gets proved to be right then she will be the oldest woman in the history of the world.
Footage recently released by the local official media outlet shows Almihan Seyit celebrating her birthday with her family and friends surrounding her in Shule county of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, north-western China.
Ms. Seyiti got married in the year 1903 when she was 17 years old. She adopted a girl and a boy as reported by China News.
Her husband passed away in the year 1976. After that, she has been living with her daughter. Sadly she also lost her son when he was 36 years old. The elderly woman is said to have lived in three centuries and experienced two world wars.

According to the pictures released by the local authorities through her social media account, she can be seen wearing a paper tiara. She can also be seen enjoying and playing the traditional instrument and talking to officials in her home village which are situated near the city of Kashgar.
In the year 2013, Ms. Seyiti toppled the list of oldest women and the oldest citizen living in China. She was then 127 years old.
Footage shows Ms. Seyiti enjoying her birthday banquet and singing with guests at her birthday party. But her reported incredible longevity has been doubted in the West since 2014
Japan’s Kane Tanaka, who was considered the oldest living human being in the world will soon lose the title. If the Chinese woman proves to be the oldest one, according to the Guinness World Records. Kane Tanaka turned 117 years old this January.
