Critics Review
The Guardian
“The movie deserves more than five stars. To be simple, it just defies anyone with blood in their bodies not to respond to the crazy bravura of Tarantino’s film-making process, and not bounce around the auditorium every second enjoying what this movie has to offer.”
Telegraph
“There is rapid toxicity that will make you think a thousand times about Brad Pitt’s character. He is totally problematic and absolutely dangerous. But at the same time, the transgressive thrill you will feel is undeniable, and the artistry mesmerizingly assured.”
Variety
“Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt fill out their roles with such ease and rawhide movie-star conviction. As a viewer, we’re happy to sit back and watch Quentin Tarantino direct the story any way he wants.”
Vanity Fair
“This curious fairy tale of a movie may not be the actual truth, and it may go on for too long. But when its stars settle, and they start to shine bright, Hollywood movies feels really special again.”
Collider
“Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio set Quentin Tarantino’s Fairy Tale of a movie Ablaze. The director has never made a film till now which is as sweet and nostalgic as Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.”
Screendaily
“Once Upon A Time in Hollywood is such a beautifully made movie. Apart from all the ‘Tarantino-esque’ touches of the action scenes, the dialogues and the cultural references are the real gem. Tarantino’s 9th film is an amazing tribute to the classic Hollywood industry.”
