One Piece episode 1054 has been confirmed to release on March 18th, after its two-week hiatus. The latest installment in the series is going to follow the ongoing battle between Sanji and Queen.
Sanji vs. Queen is now the focus of the show
The title of One Piece episode 1054 is ‘Death to Your Partner – Killer’s Deadly Gamble.’ It is all set to be released after a two week hiatus on March 18th. The ongoing fights are getting more and more interesting with each passing episode. The next episode might focus mainly on the battle between The cook and Queen. Maybe an occasional cut to other fights and give us a brief update on Yamato and Momonosuke trying to protect Onigashima.
As seen in the previous episodes, Sanji had a body transformation similar to his siblings. We will see him get much stronger, mostly at the cost of feeling empathy for others in One Piece episode 1054. The appetizer fights, Sanji vs. Queen and Zoro vs King, will be wrapped up in the upcoming episodes before leading to the main fight. The final few episodes of the Wano arc will mainly focus on the fight between Luffy and Kaido. Before that, we should be able to see whether Yamato and Momonosuke will be able to protect Onigashima from Luffy vs Kaido fight or not.

One Piece episode 1053 recap
The episode begins with Momonosuke trying to make clouds to stop the explosion’s spread while Yamato is trying to push the island away. Then we see Rob Lucy hell-bent on the purpose of bringing back Robin regardless of whoever wins the main battle. Then we get a brief scene of Brook and Robin getting chased by a bunch of Lucy’s henchmen while Brook fights some of them off.

The scene is then focused on the main fight between Queen and Sanji. Queen transforms into a snake and wraps around Sanji rendering him immobile. While crushing Sanji’s bones, Queen accidentally shoots himself and sets Sanji free. This is where we see Sanjis’s new abilities being born. Despite all his bones being crushed, Sanji just casually puts them back together. Sanji starts to realize that this might be his germa abilities awakening, just like his brothers and sisters.

Sanji is disappointed that his body is transforming into something he despises. He believes, that once his new abilities are completely awoken, he will turn into his brothers and sisters who lack empathy and emotions.
