One Piece Remake: How Netflix Is Gradually Taking Over The Series
Fans lacked trust when Netflix announced the release of One Piece Live Action. Almost everyone predicted the Live Action would be another disaster like all the other live-action series. However, all of these predictions were proven wrong by Netflix, as One Piece Live Action continuously held the number one spot in 84 countries, surpassing both Stranger Things and Wednesday.
Season 2 of One Piece Live Action was hinted at the end of Season 1, and fans have anticipated a renewal of the series. However, with the recent announcement of the One Piece Remake, many fans are wondering if Netflix would continue the Live Action series. Wit Studio and Netflix’s key objective with the One Piece Remake is to “fix” the pacing issues and animation quality!
This news was welcomed positively by most of the fandom, but it has disappointed the animators of the original One Piece series. However, a few fans believe that Netflix is being disrespectful to the animators of the original series by doing this, as the original anime series is still in its continuation phase.
I don't support One Piece Remake. In my opinion, this is disrespectful to the employees who worked so hard to deliver episodes in a short time frame. It's like "erasing" history. Although I have nothing against specials. But Anime Remake? No

The budget of Netflix’s One Piece Live Action has apparently surpassed the budget of Game Of Thrones, and fans think that One Piece Live Action is getting expensive for Netflix. To curb the cost, Netflix has decided on a One Piece Remake with Wit Studio, starting with the East Blue Saga. This gradual takeover of One Piece isn’t going unnoticed by the fandom.

One Piece Remake: Is Netflix Eyeing The Anime Universe, Starting With The Fan-favorite One Piece?
Gone are the days when fans used to purchase DVDs for an official viewership. Crunchyroll was the best unofficial streaming site for animes, equating to piracy! The tables turned rapidly with Warner Bros. taking over Crunchyroll, making it a legal and official site for anime fans.
Then came the era of Netflix, where fans could watch almost every anime on the best-known streaming platform. Netflix currently hosts a library of over 200 animes, although it is less if compared to Crunchyroll or Funimation. After tasting some success with One Piece Live Action, fans believe Netflix won’t stop there. Starting with the East Blue Saga, Netflix could become a significant player in the anime universe gradually and can change the traditional approach to releasing anime content.
