The mangaka was ill for a long time after the latest chapter was released on June 1st. There were no updates on when the next chapter was to be released up until now. The focus of this chapter is the cyborg hero, Genos. In the latest chapter, Genos used a single blow to finish the Forest Folk and the Forest King. This was all because of Dr. Kuseno’s new modification to Genos body. Genos will reflect on his development as a person and even asks Saitama about it.
In One Punch Man Chapter 186 Genos will be fighting Saitama, but the duel doesn’t last very long as Saitama doesn’t defend himself. He just closes his eyes from the brightness of Geno’s core. This makes Genos think of his switching sides. He explains to Saitama the new Neo Heroes organization and how they are fighting the corrupt practices of the Hero Association.
Genos also asks Saitama to join the Neo Heroes in this cause. Saitama, however, refuses this offer stating it is too much work. Hearing this, the Cyborg hero also loses all his interest in joining the Neo Heroes.
