While Jackie Chan has had a few controversies, it is undeniable that he has a massive fan base. Why shouldn’t he? With his humorous timing, he provided a much-needed reprieve to action films. He also popularised Asian action in the American entertainment business, raising the bar for the genre.
Another reason fans adore Jackie Chan is that he performs his own stunts. Even more impressive, he holds the Guinness World Record for the most stunts performed by a living actor! People wanted to label Jackie Chan as the next Bruce Lee, but he was all about embracing and creating his own distinct identity. Not to mention everything he does to bring good into the world! It’s easy to see why his admirers adore him.
Is Jackie Chan Internet’s New Heartthrob?
A heartthrob is a man who is so handsome that people can’t help but fall in love with him. However, Jackie Chan’s attractiveness extends far beyond his physical appearance. The actor, who is approaching his seventieth birthday, has become synonymous with the action genre. Despite the fact that he began his acting career with minor roles at the age of five in 1962, Chan is still quite popular after six decades.
Even after all these years, people continue to appreciate the actor for a variety of reasons. Here’s what Twitter has to say about Chan’s adoration:

Keanu Reeves may need to move aside because Chan has arrived to take his place! We can’t wait to see what the Rush Hour star has in store for his fans, as he has a long way to go. He is, after all, only 69 years old!
Another Reason Why We Love Jackie Chan
Chan has made over 150 films in his career, but his charitable efforts are far greater than his filmography. After growing up in an impoverished home, Chan dedicated his life to charity and social work. In 1988, he founded the Jackie Chan Foundation to provide poor youngsters with access to sports. The foundation also supported many performing arts. Since 2004, the actor has also served as a UNICEF Ambassador.
Chan also donated $5 million to Haiti flood victims and $5.2 million to Singapore Thong Chai Medical Institution. He also contributed $29 million to drought aid in China. In 2002, Chan established the Dragon Heart Foundation to assist China’s impoverished communities.
Not only that, but Chan once promised to donate half of his fortune to charity; however, he later claimed that he would donate every last penny to philanthropic causes rather than his family. “If he is capable, he can make his own money,” the actor said when asked why he won’t spare even a dollar for his kid. If he is not, he will simply be squandering my money.”
When it comes to Chan’s great work for the betterment of humanity, this is simply the tip of the iceberg. Unsurprisingly, he has admirers who support him through thick and thin!
