In the previous chapters, fans discover the fateful evening when Gorou Amamiya met his demise at the hands of a devoted follower of Ai Hoshino.
Aquamarine and his fraternal twin Ruby Hoshino, who coincidentally was Ai’s fan and Gorou’s patient, are reincarnated. Unfortunately, four years after that incident, Ai also faces her fate at the hands of the same murderer, who is later revealed to have taken his own life. It has been 12 years since the tragic incident occurred. Aqua and Ruby, now high school students, have been adopted by the owners of Ai Hoshino’s agency, Strawberry Productions.
As shown in Chapter 122, Ruby and Aquamarine realized who they were in their previous lives. Ruby is determined to take revenge on their mother’s murderer, while Aqua asks her to calm down and live her life without thinking about revenge.
