The filming for Outlander Season 5 has begun officially. Sam Heughan recently shared some behind-the-scenes pictures teasing the fans. Caitriona Balfe (Claire Fraser) has also shared a clipping prior to this on the set. The clipping was shot on the sets of Frasers’ new home which was still under construction.

Sam Heughen shared Outlander Season 5 first glimpse on the social media. The pictures were mostly taken on the first day. Jamie Fraser showcased his costume in one of the pictures and props including a gun in the other one. Meanwhile, the viewers are getting impatient to see Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan as Claire and Jamie again in the upcoming season. The time-travelling drama will revolve around the couple’s family story as they lead a new life in North Carolina, U.S.A.
The couple’s family has already faced a lot. Brianna Randall Fraser (Sophie Skelton) and Roger Mackenzie Wakefield (Richard Rankin) brought a little baby into this world and she decides to stay in the American revolutionary era with them.
Sam Heughan has mentioned previously that the Fraser family will enjoy peace for a while. However, this may not be for long as Jamie will have to face some rebellious regulators complicating things further as Murtagh Fraser, his godfather, is involved.
