Early Life
Owen Teague was born on December 8, 1998, and grew up in Tampa, Florida. His parents, both musicians, enrolled him in violin lessons until he turned 15.
Teague’s passion for acting started at a young age, and he would often act out scenes from Beauty and the Beast with his stuffed animals when he was just four years old. He then went on to participate in several small theater productions.
He belonged to the Movie Makers Club at Macfarlane Park International Baccalaureate Elementary. He was also a part of the thespian club and orchestra at Howard W. Blake High School and School of the Arts, both located in Tampa.

Owen Teague gained recognition for his performances in the TV series Bloodline (2015) and the episode “Arkangel” of Black Mirror’s fourth season (2017). He also landed a supporting role in the 2016 supernatural thriller The Empty Man, which was adapted from Cullen Bunn’s graphic novel.
In the second season of Bloodline, he portrayed Nolan Rayburn while simultaneously attending high school. Additionally, he appeared in the 2016 movie adaptation of Stephen King’s Cell.

In August 2020, it was revealed that he had been cast as Tommy Stinson in the biopic Trouble Boys, based on The Replacements. He was also chosen to play Harold Lauder in the 2020 CBS miniseries adaptation of The Stand.
Owen Teague revealed that he had cherished The Stand as his top book since the age of 13. He mentioned his attempt to depict Lauder’s mindset accurately in the novel. In his role as Harold Lauder, he portrays a sociopathic teenager who succumbs to the allure of wickedness amid a widespread disease.
In 2022, Teague was cast to play the main character in the upcoming movie Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. The movie will be directed by Wes Ball and released in 2024 on 20th Century Studios.
