Who was Pamela Bach?
Pamela Weissenbach, later known as Pamela Bach, was born on October 16, 1963, and passed away on March 5, 2025. Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, she was the second of three daughters.
Growing up, she followed in her mother’s footsteps and pursued modeling, which she continued into her teenage years.
After attending Tulsa East Central High School, she furthered her education by studying Engineering/Theatre Arts at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College. In 1985, she relocated to Los Angeles.
Career
Bach worked with her husband, David Hasselhoff, on the popular TV show Baywatch. She also often appeared as a psychologist on Sirens.
She later joined the eighth season of Celebrity Big Brother in the UK in August 2011. She was eliminated on Day 14 and came in ninth overall.
Personal Life
In 1985, while filming the Knight Rider episode “Knight Racer,” Pamela Bach and David Hasselhoff crossed paths and eventually tied the knot in December 1989.
Together, they welcomed two daughters: Taylor Ann Hasselhoff, who was born on May 5, 1990, and later attended the University of Arizona; and Hayley Hasselhoff, an actress born on August 26, 1992.
Hasselhoff declared in January 2006 that he would be seeking a divorce, citing insurmountable disagreements. The divorce was completed in August 2006, with Bach being granted custody of one daughter and Hasselhoff receiving custody of the other.
They both appeared on the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless, but not simultaneously: Pamela played Mari Jo Mason #1 in 1994, and David played Dr. Snapper Foster #2 from 1975 to 1982.

On March 5, 2025, Pamela Bach’s lifeless body was discovered in her home with an apparent gunshot wound that was believed to be self-inflicted. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office concluded that she died by suicide.
