The Toronto Raptors forward and center, Pascal Siakam, is put on the trade market by the Raptors, and they are looking for suitors for their star. A lot of teams have shown interest in signing him, including the Atlanta Hawks, the Orlando Magic, the Oklahoma City Thunder, and the Indiana Pacers.
This trade is a bit weird since this whole transfer window has been about players asking for a move-out. Damian Lillard requested a trade to the Miami Heat and James Harden asked for a move to the Clippers but Pascal wants to stay, but the Raptors are willing to trade him. Can the Pacers land him? Here is all the information you need about the trade between the Indiana Pacers and the Toronto Raptors involving Pascal Siakam.
What would the Pacers offer for Pascal Siakam?
The Pacers can offer Buddy Hield, Daniel Theis, Bennedict Mathurin, Jalen Smith, and one first-round pick each from the years 2026,2028 and 2030 in exchange for Pascal Siakam. One of the major reasons for this departure is the similar play style of a bunch of players. They have Scottie Barnes along with Pascal Siakam, and OG Anunoby is a similar kind of player as well. A departure is needed, and since Pascal Siakam gives them the best return, they would like to bid him farewell.

Why would the Raptors let Pascal Siakam go?
At first glance, this deal is an absolute disaster. Pascal had one of the best seasons of his career last season but since they have decided to do it now, they will probably be eyeing a haul for their star. The Pacers are offering youngsters, draft picks, and some expiring contracts. Isn’t that what a team expects in return when they bid farewell to their star players?
Shams/The Athletic’s update on Pascal Siakam:
Raptors are eligible to offer Siakam a 4yr/$192M+ max extension. Can take up 30% of the cap with him being in his 8th NBA Season.

Why would the Pacers like to sign Pascal Siakam?
The Pacers are giving up a lot for just one player, and that would make them question their decision. They are in their rebuilding phase, too, and risking it all might backfire for them. But since they have always craved to stay in the competition, they would do it. He is a player who can win games on his own.
Are the Pacers relying too much on the services of Pascal? This might haunt them in the near future. We’ll keep you updated.
