After a wrestler won a lot of money on “Wheel of Fortune,” Pat Sajak tried to beat him at his own game.
Fred Jackson, who calls himself a professional wrestler, bar trivia host, and drama teacher, showed on Tuesday’s episode of the game show that he is a man with many skills. He played a perfect game, which means he solved all of the show’s puzzles and won the bonus round, which gave him $75,800.
As Jackson and his dad celebrated his win on stage, Pat Sajak pulled the other contestant into a headlock to show off his own wrestling skills. Jackson’s dad laughed as the over-the-top fight went on. (Watch what happens at the 1:10 mark).
Several viewers joked that the move Pat Sajak did “perfectly” was similar to a move called the cross-face chicken wing, and they were shocked that he knew how to do it:
it's important that the world knows a 76-year-old Pat Sajak still knows how to put on a cross-face chicken winghttps://t.co/0ad0FffZ1R

@SGiangPaunon this is a Cross Face Chicken Wing being expertly applied, I’d say Fred got out of there lucky and kudos to Pat for leaving the man’s arm in one piece pic.twitter.com/kplL3jVcvE

He got me, genuinely,
Jackson said in a post-game interview.
I was trying to counter his hammerlock that he had me in. I was trying to get behind him, and I wasn’t going anywhere.
He also said that being on the show had always been a dream of his.
Last week, Pat Sajak got people talking when he gave a fake fish to a contestant who said she was afraid of fish.
