Paul George once expressed his desire to get mentored by LeBron James. He said that he wanted to have a conversation about the game with LeBron. Heat-Pacers faceoff in 2014
In 2014, Indiana Pacers was one of the most promising teams in the league. They dominated the league in the starting and was considered as one of the strongest defensive team in the league. The team reached the Eastern Conference finals, and the Pacers won the first game by 107-96. Then LeBron James showed up and outperformed everybody and helped the Miami Heat to take a lead of 3-1. Later on, ended up beating the Pacers. It was the time when the rivalry between Paul and LeBron got interesting.
