Manchester United is continuously giving extraordinary performance under their new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The team has won all of their three league matches and scored 12 goals in total. The fans are now comparing the Norwegian to the legendary Sir Matt Busby.
But it looks like Paul Parker is not yet satisfied by Solskjaer. When Jose Mourinho was sacked, the club decided to bring in a fan favorite to lead the Red Devils.
According to Paul Parker, the fan favorite managers are good for short terms, but they aren’t capable enough to take the team forward. In the long term, they will struggle to maintain the top talents of the club.
Paul Parker on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
But then again, Paul has appreciated the efforts of Ole Gunnar. He said that Ole’s a lovely person and he has brought back the smiles on everyone’s faces. Everyone’s happy seeing their team perform so well on the field.
But he is perfect for this season only. If Manchester is thinking to keep him for the long term, the ex-defender doesn’t think that Solskjaer would be a good choice.
He clearly said that he is really doubtful whether Solskjaer would be able to attract the right players to the club in the long run. Manchester United is going strong at the moment, but they need just a little bit more.
Gunnar is not that experienced that he can convince the topmost talent to get in the club.
On Manchester United’s Future and alternate choice for Manager
When asked about his opinions on who should replace Ole Gunnar in the future, he said that Laurent Blanc would be a good option.
Blanc is an experienced national team manager and has managed PSG. PSG is a club full of experience and top quality players which includes Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
And he managed them all with ease. He might be the best option for the Red Devils in the long run.
