John Cena’s Peacemaker is joining the Mortal Kombat franchise.
Cena, the famous 16-time world champion wrestler, became the face of Peacemaker in 2021 with James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad. The duo hit it off and created a Peacemaker TV series that quickly became a sensation on the MAX streaming platform.
Now, fans can look forward to Peacemaker making his way into the upcoming Mortal Kombat 1 video game as a playable character. This game is slated for release this coming September. Other superhero favorites, Homelander and Omni-Man, will be featured alongside him. The latest sneak peek of this exciting development can be seen in the newest trailer launched at Comic-Con.
