When you read one tweet about thirst, the whole internet goes crazy.
After a moment he had that went viral, everyone knew who Pedro Pascal was.
Pedro Pascal, who has been called the “internet’s daddy,” read a tweet from a fan who called him “my cool, slutty father.” Pascal awkwardly replied,
Yep, I am your cool slutty daddy.
Pedro Pascal saying “I’m your cool slutty daddy” WAS NOT ON MY 2023 BINGO CARD 😭😭😭😭 pic.twitter.com/Aa6LoPTFy1

Everyone wants in on this action right now, but the star of The Last of Us recently refused to read some “dirty” tweets from fans.
A reporter from Access Hollywood came up to the actor at a Mandalorian season 3 event and asked him to read some thirsty tweets from fans.
The interviewer revealed:
I would love if you could read a few thirst tweets that the internet has for you.
You can read them to camera.
Pascal took off his glasses and looked at the tweets for a moment before laughing and telling the interviewer, “Pick your favorite.”
He politely refused:
No.
Dirty!
You can watch the moment below.

Even though the interviewer was probably upset, Pascal’s fans were quick to defend him. Several of them pointed out that even though it might be funny for viewers and thirsty tweeters, it’s still uncomfortable and a violation of personal boundaries.
they think they’re all just in on some lil joke but it’s so violating

Right bc she didn’t even ask consent to show him this explicit stuff and it feels like sexual harassment. Why is that okay? It wouldn’t be tolerated anywhere else

It’s not about being a prude, it’s objectifying. It’s no different than a woman getting constant questions about their sex appeal in every interview. It’s boring and disrespectful.

He is one classy adult. Then his graciousness, thanks the interviewer and told her she did good.

Not only was the request itself wrong, but many people also said that it was neither the right time nor the right place to make it.
they’re showing an adult man weird sexual tweets from tweens on a Disney red carpet

He’s at a Disney event. He laughed at hearing someone curse behind him in another interview. It’s supposed to be a family friendly environment. It’s inappropriate.

It’s a Disney red carpet event. It’s not the appropriate forum

when will they give it a rest :/ it’s incredibly disrespectful – ESPECIALLY at the Mando launch event.

Some even said that, yes, many celebrities do take part in segments like BuzzFeed’s “Celebs Read Thirst Tweets,” in which they read thirst tweets on camera, but those who did so gave their permission and agreed to do so beforehand.
On the other hand, Pascal did not.
Pascal plays “daddy” roles in the new season of The Mandalorian on Disney+ on Wednesdays and in The Last of Us on HBO on Sundays.
