In an interview with the New York Times, General Mark Milley, the Pentagon Chief, confessed that the American Armed Forces have observed hundreds of UFOs all over the world. Milley declared that the authority is looking into these sightings, but has been unsuccessful in determining where they came from.
Pentagon Chief Reports 100s of UFO Sightings
During the interview, General Milley stated that they are still unsure of what these UFOs are and the same have been spotted in “all parts the world” which includes the USA, Asia, and Europe.
“We don’t know what they are. We can’t identify them.”
Military pilots often report sightings of strange objects that travel at speeds and heights that our technology cannot reach. Moreover, sometimes these objects are seen doing acrobatics that should be physically impossible or disappearing into thin air.
Which Countries Have Reported The Most UFO Sightings?
The Pentagon has been researching unidentified flying object sightings for many years, yet has been very tight-lipped about its discoveries. In 2022, they released a statement on their research which conceded that they had a lack of information regarding these strange occurrences.
In a potential effort for openness, the Department of Defense published a recent paper revealing the locations of alleged UFO occurrences from 1996 to 2023. The document features a chart that points to the regions where the most sightings of unidentified flying objects have been documented. This follows a statement from a Pentagon official who acknowledged the presence of hundreds of strange objects around the globe.
The map indicates that Japan and the coasts of the US have been the sites of the most sightings reported between 1996 and 2023.
An examination of 144 UFO reports submitted to the U.S. Air Force from 2004 to 2021 was the foundation of the report. Out of these, 14 could not be linked to any known type of aircraft, leaving them as “unexplained.”
Dr Sean Kirkpatrick, director of the Pentagon’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), said,
‘We see these [‘metallic orbs’] all over the world, and we see these making very interesting apparent manoeuvres.’
The Pentagon’s study did not present any definite judgments concerning the character of the unidentified flying objects. The American government remains involved in researching these events and has promised to make more of its discoveries open to the public in the days ahead.
According to the studies, the USA had the highest number of unidentified sightings. Among the European nations, countries like France, Spain, and the United Kingdom were the most common places where these unidentified objects were spotted. Also, Asian countries such as Japan, China, and South Korea have also reported such occurrences.
The United States government has a reputation for being very discreet when it comes to discussing unidentified flying objects, but the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, established by the Department of Defense in 2020, has a website with recent news.
