There are some users who have reportedly got the update quickly have taken their opinion to Twitter for expressing their displeasure regarding the change.
Now a recent revelation has revealed that Instagram didn’t plan on rolling out the recent update as extensive as possible. Adam Mosseri, the head of the significant social media photo sharing, Instagram has tweeted an apology by stating that “the rollout was previously thought to be a small test, but they have gone broader than it was previously anticipated.
TechCrunch was the first website that has reported regarding the redesign of Instagram back in 2018, October. During that time, the recently implemented feature is going to be tested internally for exploring the pages of the app.
Nevertheless, the developers of Instagram have explained the Instagram has reportedly expanded the update to its main feed also, whether it is intentional or not. The users who are going to receive the update have reported that the moment they have opened Instagram, then they were just able to swipe right or left through the photos other than scrolling down and up, which feels like the norm on Instagram ever since its inception.
Much like most of the past updates of Instagram, this change has reportedly sparked up everything starting from mild displeasure to the vast array of rage on Twitter. Instagram is yet to announce the change publicly.
