Texas is an interesting place. Not just because the Bugs Bunny’s catchphrase “What’s Up, Doc?” originated in Dallas or because it’s called the world’s live music capital. But because it’s normal for people living here to eat pickles at the movie theaters.
I mean, how can someone eat pickles while watching movies when there are many delicious options lying around. But just as much as we were surprised to know this, Texans were equally surprised when they knew no one else did it.
Maybe you haven’t heard, but apparently, it’s totally kosher (get it?) for people in Texas to eat pickles at the movies.
Movie snacks a little popcorn… then for dessert a pickle 😐 😁?? pic.twitter.com/3efAlBsV8O

Individual pickles are available for purchase at many concession stands, and just like any other movie food, they’re ridiculously overpriced.

Apparently, some locations will even offer to drain a bit of that pickle juice for you which is what I call customer service.
