They further added that he is a professional and talented actor and does not deserve to be treated this way.

Percy Hynes’ father, Joel Hynes is an actor and novelist. Joel Hynes has also expressed his support towards his 21-year-old son in a statement.
“I used to quite blindly subscribe to the old adage that where there’s smoke there must be fire. But if these past few months have made anything absolutely clear, it’s that where there’s smoke (even if there’s a whole lot of it) sometimes that’s all it is – smoke.”
He further stated that he is not afraid of the backlash he will receive for standing by his talented son.
“If publicly offering my support for my kind and gentle, massively talented son equates to me throwing myself to the wolves – so be it, come what may.”

On the other hand, Netflix has reportedly informed the publication that no decisions regarding casting for the upcoming season. This is due to ongoing actors’ and writers’ strikes in Hollywood.
