Peter Carroll will be with the Emerald City. As per the news of Ian Rapoport, an NFL Insider, the Seattle Seahawks have signed a deal with Carroll of $11 million per year till 2021. This deal put Carroll in the list of highest-paid coaches.
The announcement was made official by Jody Allen, the Seahawks chairperson. He said that he could be more happy and excited to announce that they have extended the contract of Pete Carroll till 2021. He believes that this will help Seattle to continue their “championship culture.”
And he couldn’t be more right about that. Pete has a stupendous record of 88-54-1 in the regular season. He has led the Seahawks into multiple SuperBowls and has made them win the Super Bowl XLVII.
Pete Carroll has helped the Seahawks recover from tough times. When all the stars including Kam Chancellor, Cliff Avril, Richard Sherman and many more, Carroll took the charge and retooled the entire team and led them to a Super Bowl victory.
And now, Seattle has a young time and need some experience in the coaching area, which makes Carroll perfect for the job. Let’s see whether they can bring another Super Bowl home.
