The Philadelphia Sixers are expected to make some blockbuster moves in the coming days. Harden’s departure has left the Sixers with a lot of assets and a huge void to fill. James was one of their key players, and that is why they did not want to part ways with him. However, the 34-year-old was determined to play for the Los Angeles Clippers.
The Sixers finally let him go, but not without a haul in return. There are speculations that the reigning MVP, Joel Embiid, might ask for a trade as well if the Sixers underperform. If that really happens, the Sixers would be forced to rebuild. To avoid losing both of their stars in quick succession, the Sixers need to make some signings. Here are three trades we think that the Philadelphia Sixers can do.
Who would the Philadelphia Sixers acquire?
The Sixers are targeting the star players from the Bulls who are set to rebuild this season. They would fancy landing the 28-year-old Zach Lavine or the 34-year-old veteran DeMar DeRozan from the Bulls. DeRozan has an expiring contract and it would be a tactically good move to acquire him rather than Zach. The Sixers are likely to offer Marcus Morris, Furkan Korkmaz, Danuel House, and KJ Martin, along with some draft picks for either of the two stars.
The #Sixers are “hoping” their trade assets will be enough to acquire a player similar to Jrue Holiday, per @MikeAScotto.

Who would the Philadelphia Sixers keep?
There are rumors that Nicolas Batum would not be put on the market. The Sixers are doing a lot better with the 34-year-old on the floor. Nicolas is a brilliant scorer from beyond the arc and his movements allow him to guard various positions. The veteran might not get interest from any of the rebuilding teams since he would be a strange fit for them.
The #Sixers are expected “to be aggressive” with upgrading their roster before the trade deadline — after sending James Harden to Los Angeles, per @MikeAScotto.

Who would the Sixers like to trade off?
Furkan Korkmaz requested a trade in February and there are chances that he might succeed in getting traded this time. The 26 year old is a great shooter and has been an incredible rotation player for the Sixers.
