It was an astonishing week from the Broncos’ rookie Phillip Lindsay. It all started when Lindsay didn’t get a selection in the NFL draft and just managed to slip in the Broncos’ depth chart.
However, it all just escalated quickly and Lindsay is now in a Pro Bowl Berth. And he became the first ever NFL offensive player to enter into the season as an undrafted rookie. He is in an NFL all-star game. He will be joined by his fellow Broncos teammate Von Miller.
There are rumors that this selection came as a result of the league’s coaches and players recommendations for Lindsay’s performance. He didn’t even finish in the top 10 running backs in the fan votings. Miller was actually the second and Chubb secured the fifth position. But the former standout performer of the University of Colorado and of Denver South High School still earned a Pro Bowl Berth.
We will have to wait and watch if he can deliver when Pro Bowl begins from 27 January.
