Google Pixel 3 XL mobiles are facing an odd software glitch. A virtual 2nd notch is displaying on the device screen. But this not relevant to the real physical notch available on the screen which holds the sensors as well as the front facing cameras. Google has already addressed the glitch and will fix it by a software update that is coming soon.
Many users who are testing the Pixel 3 XL are facing this issue. Some users facing this glitch temporarily as after restarting the phone it is back with correct format. Many users have posted about this odd software glitch in twitter and reddit.

A Google spokesperson responded that while the colorful sentiment for the phone is considered this glitch is definitely an odd one since the phone is already having a huge notch. However, he said that a fix would be coming soon through a software update.
