There are reports that Google Pixelbook 2 will have the molecular display back in 4K along with a lot more upgrades. Here is everything we know about the Pixelbook 2 release date, price, specs, rumors and more for the Chromebook.
Google Pixelbook 2 Specs Rumors and 4K Molecular Display
Google Pixelbook came out in 2017 and 4K displays were not popular in that era and hence it had a 2,400 x 1,600 Quad HD display. After that, Google skipped on the Pixelbook 2 launch and came up with the Pixel Slate tablet instead. It marks the debut of the Molecular Display feature built with low-temperature polycrystalline silicon (LTPS) panel.
Pixelbook slate had a 3,000 x 2,000 resolution with more vibrant colors and a faster screen process. Meanwhile, Google Pixelbook Go had a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 to achieve 4K Ultra HD with pixel density at 331 PPI. It is why tech fans are expecting that Google will add the 4K Ultra HD Molecular Display feature to the next chrome-os laptops.
