The Portland Trail Blazers have been in the limelight throughout the NBA trade window due to the Damian Lillard Saga. The 33-year-old is inclined towards a move to the Miami Heat, but the Blazers are expecting more than what the Heat are offering in exchange for their star. Since Damian would leave for free later, the Blazers are in talks with other teams to get a haul in return for their guard. Here are 3 trades we think the Blazers can do this summer.
Portland Trail Blazers send Damian to Heat in a 3-team deal
The Blazers can do a deal involving the Nets and the Heat which would allow Damian to join his preferred destination. This three-team trade would result in Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson joining the Nets, and the Blazers would receive Ben Simmons, Jaime Jaquez, and one first-round pick each from the year 2025,2027 and two first-round picks from the year 2029. Lastly, the Heat would add Damian to their roster. The Blazers are getting two players and four draft picks, isn’t what they wanted all along?

Portland Trail Blazers trade off Anfernee Simons
The Magic are expected to offer Jonathan Isaac, Chuma Okeke, and one first-round pick each from the years 2025 and 2027 for Anfernee Simons. Both the Blazers and the Magic can use Simons according to their needs since he fits in both the squads. But Magic is offering a good package for him, and the Blazers might choose the alternate option and send him away.

Portland Trail Blazers trade-off Jerami Grant
The Lakers can offer Rui Hachimura, Jarred Vanderbilt, Taurean Prince, and a 2029 first-round pick in exchange for Jerami Grant. This trade might not happen if Hachimura performs well, and since this trade can not be done for a while, the Lakers have enough time to observe the performance. If the Lakers want an upgrade, they can land Jerami who is a brilliant defender and shot creator.
