Beats was acquired by Apple in 2014 for a whopping $3 billion deal. The stylish and sporty sound devices are manufactured by Beats for Apple.
Recently Beats announced the Powerbeats Pro, the first wireless earbuds from the audio division of Apple. Powerbeats Pro is already being termed as the better alternative of AirPods 2.
Powerbeats Pro: New Features
The new Powerbeats Pro comes up with a lot of cool new features:
Design: The earbuds are sweat and water resistance. The earhooks are adjustable for added comfort and stability.
Sound quality: Apple is saying that Powerbeats Pro delivers powerful, balanced sound with dynamic range and noise isolation.
Battery life: It has a battery life of 9 hours, which can be increased to 24 hours with the included charging case. It comes with a Fast Fuel charging feature, where 5 hours of charging extends batter by 1.5 hours.
Voice control: It comes with a hands-free control via Hey Siri on iOS devices. The voice capability is also said to have been increased.
Control buttons: The powerbuds comes up with 3 set of buttons for Volume control, Auto play and Call answering.
Color Variants
It comes in 4 different colors: Black, Ivory, Moss, and Navy. While the black variants of AirPods 2 are yet to be seen anywhere.
The colors match with the theme of Workout on which Powerbeats are being marketed. It provides the user with a cool sporty look.
Powerbeats Pro vs Apple AirPods 2
The Powerbeats Pro also uses the same H1 chip which is used in Apple AirPods 2. It enables the Hey Siri voice command and improves the battery life.

The major difference is the intended use and user market for both earbuds. Apple AirPods 2 are designed for casual listening and taking normal calls. Powerbeats Pro are aimed for physical activity including sports, workouts, and more.
Price and Release Date
The Alternative AirPods, latest product by Beats, Powerbeats Pro are will be available for $249.95, as compared to the previous version Powerbeats 3 ($199) and AirPods 2 ($159–$199).
