President Trump seems to use his iPhone even after signs of eavesdropping by China and Russia. Many officials out of frustration over Trump’s casual usage of his iPhone to discuss highly classified information anonymously detailed about Trump’s iPhone usage. According to the American spy agency officials, China and Russia were routinely spying on President Trump’s call through intercepting communications between officials collected by internal human sources working in foreign governments. Trump has asserted the article to be wrong and that he uses only one very rarely used Government phones. But Trump did not deny the facts or claim error in the reports of The New York Times.

China learns about the behaviors of Mr. Trump—his inclination, thinking patterns and arguments and then use it their advantage. Stephen A. Schwarzman, Chief Executive of the Blackstone Group and the former casino magnate, Steve Wynn are one among few targets on the list of persuasion. The strategy is that by persuading those people without their knowledge, the Chinese could influence Mr. Trump by delivering their views and message through those people. China seemed to have invested more on this idea than Russia because of Trump’s recent rapport with President Vladimir V. Putin.

The only difference is that Trump’s iPhone is vulnerable for easy hacking and can give a clear picture of Trump’s trusted advisers and their inclination. The Chinese never missed an opportunity to persuade Mr. Trump for a brief with Mr. Xi, as said by an official. The Chinese had observed correctly that Mr. Trump gives more importance to personal relationship and have understood that personal contact with Trump will ripe more benefits than regular contacts between the officials. Whether Trump’s friends could influence him to stop the trade war with the Chinese is another question to be discussed.

Mr.Xi and Mr.Putin avoid cell phones as they are well known about the risks of using cell phones. Even former President Barack Obama refrained from using mobile phones. Trump also had frequently attacked Hillary Clinton during 2016 presidential campaign for using unsecured email server. As per the Presidential Records Act, President should use only phones which are highly secured and are disabled of features like storing, sending text messages, downloading Apps, camera and microphones. But Trump had demanded on device with more features and depends on his most often when he doesn’t want his aides to see through his calls.

Trump’s lack of cautiousness has raised concern among the officials of the United States. Everyone knows about the scramble that was created as President Trump forgot his cell phone in his golf club in Bedminster last year. Every 30 days Mr. Trump has to swap his official phones but does it very rarely due to the inconvenience caused by it as the iPhones don’t support backups as that would cause malfunction of the cell phone. What type of phone Trump’s uses doesn’t matter, as the Chinese and the Russians are always trying to listen and use it to their advantage.
