Priscilla Presley is friendly with her granddaughter Riley Keough, despite rumors to the contrary.
The former wife of late legend Elvis Presley claimed as much this week at “An Evening to Remember With Priscilla Presley.” She allegedly told attending fans that she and Keough “get along well” despite a legal battle over Keough’s late mother, Lisa Marie Presley.
“She was absolutely lovely,” said Jackie Howse, one of the few dozen fans who met Presley. “I wasn’t quite sure what to expect… She was nice and spoke softly. She definitely made me feel at ease.”
Lisa Marie Presley, 54, died earlier this year of cardiac arrest.
In January, Priscilla Presley filed court documents to oppose her daughter’s will. She claimed an “invalid signature” was used to sign a 2016 revision that replaced Priscilla Presley and Lisa Marie Presley’s former business manager with Keough and her late brother, Benjamin, as co-trustees.
A source told ET at the time, “It’s been a very tense and heartbreaking few weeks for both Riley and Priscilla.” “Riley has been grieving her mother’s death and is heartbroken to be dealing with a trust dispute with a family member.”

When the legal dispute with Keough was brought up, Howse claimed Presley “came across as very gracious.” “You know, I went to supper with [her] before I came [here],’ Presley informed the fan. ‘Everything’s fine,’ she said.
“That’s not the case at all,” Howse reportedly stated of Priscilla’s rumored dispute with Keough. “They weren’t correct. It was brief, but she stated, ‘Don’t believe what’s been said…’ Riley and I get along just fine.'”
“She came across as very proud,” Howse said of Presley’s remarks on Keough’s Hollywood career. “She’d actually said, ‘I am very proud of her.'” She should be quite proud of herself.’ Her expression showed her pride; how proud was she of the family.’
However, familial infighting is likely to have occurred while Sarah Ferguson attempted to mediate a resolution between Priscilla Presley and Keough. The former Duchess of York, who was close to Lisa Marie Presley, reportedly contacted both women to help them interact and stated that she “wants the best for the whole family.”
