Filming has started for Prison Break season 6
Prison Break season 6 was confirmed by Fox in January 2018, but after that, there was no update from the channel. The filming of the show was delayed because of the merger between Fox Studios and Disney.
The fans will be happy to know that the cost and crew have started filming the next installment now. Rumors are suggesting that the show will be presented in a new format now. There is even a report that there will be a time jump in the next season.
Michael Thorn, who is the president of Fox Network’s entertainment division, said, “It is going to be a new iteration of the show.” He also revealed that Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell will be returning to play their roles as Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burros.
Michael goes back to the beginning
Scheuring, who is the writer for the show, tweeted several months ago that the first episode of the sixth season will take our heroes back to the very first frame. This suggests that Michael will be returning to the tattoo parlor we first saw in the Pilot.
But for now, all we can do speculate. Filming is still going on and an official release date has not been confirmed.
