The dragon is not always bested. The good man does not always win. Real life cannot live up to the expectations and stories that we read as kids. Sometimes the fairy tale is just a tale. There will not be a happy ending always. But today if you are a Purdue fan it was a bigger picture than any fairy tale.
There are some things larger than football. One of those things happened to be today. Everything went the Purdue’s way right from the kickoff moment. Rondale Moore, basically everything, D.J. Knox, same, Markus Bailey, a pick six and Isaac Zico put on an amazing play. On the defensive hand, great coverage with multiple drives with deflected passes being stopped by Blackmon it seemed like everything was firing at cent percent for them.
In this game Purdue never trailed back. The team never looked back after Isaac Zico’s incredible catch to put Purdue up 7-0. The team’s confidence appeared high. In order to make the Ohio State uncomfortable the coaches had formulated a perfect game plan. The fake field goal at the end of the second quarter that Purdue and Joe Schopper, converted in to a first down and then a touchdown broke the Ohio State’s spirit. Which left the game 14-3 and with it the teams went into the locker room.
Purdue was victorious with 49-20 and when the game was over Purdue fans streamed on to the field.
