He was in a mind to sell the Quebec City as a hockey market in the person. The reason being even with an arena ready to the most hockey-mad regions of the world. On the other hand, Quebec City had tumbled down the NHL’s priority list of expansion this made the scenario much worse than before.
They have deferred the Quebec City’s bid and then Vegas golden knights had advanced to the Stanley cup finals on their inaugural season. The league is on its way to expand its operation with the Seattle. With the new Franchise expected to formally approve the reason. Two years ago Quebec city had submitted the application for expansion.
Thus the Hockey city’s fate is in complete disarray. The top management has not taken the right steps to safeguard the heritage of the NHL’s era for Quebec City in the times to come.
