Oakland Raiders will finally get a chance to wear their new uniforms and play on their home ground. Raiders vs Rams NFL game takes place on Saturday night, August 10 at 8 pm. RingCentral Coliseum will be the battleground for one of the most exciting football game.
Jon Gruden, the coach of Raiders is testing his new players in the upcoming games. Raiders and Rams already had two join practice sessions in Napa on Wednesday and Thursday. Jonathan Cooper, Josh Jacobs, AJ Cole, Black Bortles and others will be on the lookout at the Raiders vs. Rams match.
Who takes the Guard Position?
Richie Incognito, the starting left guard for the Raiders has been suspended and can’t play the first two games. Gabe Jackson, the right guard is also supposed to miss eight weeks due to practice injury. Jonathan Cooper can be given a chance as the Raiders wants to explore their depth. Raiders have big plans for Cooper and the game against Rams might be a start.

Josh Jacobs and AJ Cole to debut
Josh Jacobs, the rookie for Alabama has shown great potential in the practice games against the Rams. Gruden wants to see Jacobs playing at high stakes and we may finally see his NFL debut with Raiders. Another player to kick off his career with Raider is the punter AJ Cole. Cole can be the next holder for Raiders as Johhny Townsend is not doing much great.

Derek Carr Replacements
Derek Carr is not expected to play in the Raiders vs. Rams game and it might give others the chance to shine. Nathan Peterman and Mike Glennon are the frontrunners in the race to replace Carr for the Oakland Raiders. Gruden himself wants to test them both out in the next game. Peterman has the potential for development and Glennon is a veteran who needs to bring his A-game back.

Testing the Quarterbacks
Blake Bortles, the former Jacksonville Jaguars starter will get a chance to open for Rams in place of Jared Goff. Sean McVay, the coach of Los Angeles Rams is fully confident in Bortles and believes that he can improve the game of other players too. The Raiders will try their best and put out and aggressive gameplay to win the Raiders vs. Rams battle.
