Fans of Travis Scott are appalled by the rapper’s reaction to not being recognized in Japan.
The ‘Sicko Mode’ artist is one of the world’s richest musicians, with a net worth of $60 million.
With his worldwide fame, you’d think he’d be surrounded by fans the instant he comes out in public.
One viral video, however, proves different.
Travis Scott, whose full name is Jacques Bermon Webster II, can be seen standing in the center of a busy crossroads in Japan with his entourage in a video uploaded on Twitter.
He’s posing for a photo shoot with his hood up, covering his face for a fashionable shot.
The video then shows the ‘Highest in the Room’ artist pulling his hood down, but he notices everyone else on the crosswalk passing by unconcerned.
While the ‘Goosebumps’ singer tries to remain calm and dismiss the incident with a smile, he does the walk of shame back to his crew.
The video has had 13.1 million views on Twitter since @kirawontmiss shared it, and others have responded quickly.
One fan suggests: “He’s probably happy as hell to be able to walk around like a normal person for once.”
Someone else suggests: “Maybe they know him but didn’t give a s***.”
A third adds: “Bro had a hoodie and everything trying [to] make a big reveal for it to backfire.”
“It’s the pause before he turns back around and realises no one cares,” comments another person.
One fan supported the action, pointing out that Travis Scott hasn’t had many hits in Japan.
They pen: “The only Western artists who could stand there and be recognized are Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Rihanna and a few others.
“I don’t know why he thought they’d know him when he doesn’t even have chart entries there, the secondhand embarrassment.”

The ‘Antidote’ singer notably dated Kylie Jenner, with whom he had two children.

According to an unnamed insider close to the marriage, the pair’s split is the result of their disparate lives.
Talking to People, the alleged source says: “Kylie is very focused on her kids and her business. She is not a big partier.
“Travis is the opposite. He likes to party. They definitely have different focuses. They always did.”
