Chapter 76 Recap
In this chapter, we see Anya getting scolded by Yor and Loid for being reckless during the hijacking incident. Later, Loid drops her off at school, thinking Anya might still be shaken from the incident. He apologizes to Anya for not being there to pick her up after the incident. She asks Loid if families that show up to pick up their child loves them more. Anya was thinking about Damian and Melinda while asking the question. Loid misinterprets this as her asking this because he didn’t pick her up and feels awful. Anya reading his mind, manipulates him into buying her cake.

Later at school, we see Damian and his friends, who ask him about the time he spent at home. He thinks about how his mother cooked food for him even though she wasn’t there to eat it with him. Anya gets praised by her classmates, who no longer look down on her for being a commoner. Anya, swayed by her popularity, starts to plan world domination. Damion gets jealous that Anya is getting so much attention. Becky mocks him that he is afraid that Anya will get taken away from him.

Damian, insulted by this statement from Becky and unwilling to admit his feelings, tries to mock Anya. He tells how Anya is a commoner expecting his classmates to mock her for it. Much to his surprise, their classmates get fascinated and even more impressed by the statement. They ask Anya what her life as a commoner is, and she tells them all about Yor and her cooking.

All her classmates are fascinated by it except Damian’s friends, who think it is wrong for parents to have to cook for their children. Damian disagrees with this as his mother cooked for him. Becky then chimes in about how Yor trained them and how strong Yor is. All her classmates are fascinated by this and want to be trained by Yor. Damian butts in and starts to insult Anya’s family, which makes her cry.

Damian stops Anya from crying by apologizing and telling her he will buy her candy later. Damian, taken aback by his unexpected response, tries dismissing what he just said. The school bell rings while Damian tells everyone that he is a stronger man for apologizing. Anya disputes this claim saying she is the stronger one. Their classmates leave them behind and head to class while Anya and Damian fight in the corridor and are late to class.
